Indian Music
Indian Classical Music is an ancient tradition which has evolved over time. Never just for entertainment, it is a way of raising consciousness and evolving an individual human being into a universal entity. Since these ages past, people in India have crafted tools to take an individual to their ultimate liberation and music is a profound way of doing this, seeking to reach the unmanifest through the manifest.
In this world of music, there are various Ragas which are defined by a particular set of notes, sung or played in different patterns or scales and timings or talas.
There are different forms or styles of classical music like Dhrupad, Dhamar, Thumri, Dadara each with their own nuances and characters. Semi-classical music like Bhajans, Geets & Gazals are also derived from different ragas.
With good practice and understanding of Indian classical music, one can be deeply soaked into the beauty of sound.
